The Molaman family is pleased to announce that there is a new addition to their family, Sameeer. Sameer has recently just been added as a new sublabel to Molaman Records.  With his experience going back to the mid 1980s, he certainly isn’t a rookie when it comes to music. With over 20 years of experience under his belt, Sameer brings an interesting perspective and style to house music. He started his career by playing at friends’ parties and small events. Word soon spread of his raw talent in DJing, he soon was invited to work at special events and a number of clubs. As of recently, Sameer  is signed with Future Beware Recordings, working to produce his music. As a DJ, Sameer strives to work the crowd, catering his music to mimic the response of the crowd. He states, “I want the crowd to feel the music with me, I want them to feel what I feel inside of me when I play”. With a true passion for the music, he is sure to not disappoint even the most avid of house music fans. In addition to his passion as an artist, Sameer works to create the “perfect track”, spending hours mixing various sounds to achieve just the right track. As Sameer states, “I will spend weeks on production to get the sound that I want”.  He is an artist who constantly reinvents and improves himself, rendering him to be truly a master of his craft. While he holds far more experience in the house music industry than his peers, this does not hinder him in the least, rather it only adds to his music and style. Sameer notes that his experience is what separates himself as an artist. He brings to the table a unique blend of sounds that is hard to be matched by fellow artists who do not share in his long history of credentials. Sameer is able to ingeniously blend his sounds from the past to those of the present, leading to a completely unique take on house music.  A DJ who is not one to be missed, fans should watch for his upcoming events this summer, some of which have been rumored to be located in the Brooklyn New York area.

“Aggz”, otherwise known as Andrew Gidney, has been involved in the music scene since 2002. His style is dynamic, he is an artist that is not afraid to break what some may call the “comfort zone”. As a DJ, Aggz is highly versatile, he is able to appeal to the mainstream listeners, but also appeal to listeners who desire for a perhaps more stylistic and unique approach to house music. As Aggz states, “I am an all round kind of DJ. I produce my own brand, which allows me to cater to a lot of different styles of music including;  jackin house, house in best, deep house, urban, etc”. In addition, Aggz has experienced an impressive amount of publicity throughout the past year and has more to come in the  upcoming months. He signed with Molaman in December 2012 and is anticipating the next steps in his rising career as he moves into the next year. Aggz is currently getting ready to perform at  the event Hectik on Saturday April 20th at The Warehouse, tickets start at £12.00 + B.  In addition, Aggz has a number of shows for the upcoming summer that are sure to be unforgettable.  Coming up on April 27th he will be supporting Tinchy Stryder at Lava Ignite Burnley, an event that is not one to be missed.  It is undeniable the influence that Aggz is bringing to the house music industry, with his events all the way booked up until August, he is not an artist to be undermined. While Aggz is not new to the house music scene, he brings in a fresh take on the genre, leaving listeners wanting more. His flexibility as an artist is demonstrated throughout his work, rendering him as a performer that is sure to be watched out for in the coming months.

Get ready to gear up for an exciting night as it has been announced that MaloUK’s own Danny Haigh is joining in on Kooky’s Bank Holiday event on May 5 at 23a New Park Street, LE3 5NH Leicester, United Kingdom. This event is rumored to be one unforgettable party and has a great line up of artists for the night including; Lance Morgan, Nick Hannam, RS4, Jamie Baggots, Lombardo, Chuck Taylor, Oliver Julien, and of course our very own Danny Haigh. Haigh, a resident of Kooky’s for the past two years, specializes in Garage, Bassline, Jackin Bass, and Deep House music and  is known for his high energy vocal track selection and spinning the best upfront bass driven house music. He  is sure to put on a unforgettable show as his passion for the music is clearly evident in his performance. As in Haigh’s own words, “it is my passion that drives the music, I play for the crowd, but I also play for myself, and I think that really adds to the performance” With his experience in DJing starting at the early age of 13, he brings standout talent to the event  that is not to be missed. In addition, there also is a surprise special guest host for this event, leading to even more anticipation for anxious attendees. The gates open at 10pm and are scheduled  to stay open until 6am, leaving party goers plenty of time to enjoy the show all night long. Attendees can also look forward to countless number of attractions including; free sunglasses, balloons, dancers, a thundering funktion one sound system, live visuals by Kooky VDJ, organic pirate merchandise, Kooky decor and tees, and a free CD give away. Tickets are sure to go quickly and starting April 8 there will be an early bird special of tickets priced at £6 with standard tickets listed at £8 +bf MOTD, tickets have been guaranteed to sell out, so buy early. Currently, there are nearly 500 people who are projected to attend this event, so buy tickets early. This event is to be the ultimate party for every serious house raver, so don’t miss out as this is going to be one crazy night.
